I can be happy, or sad - my choice.
I can complain, or I can cope - my choice.
Life can be a chore or a challenge - my choice.
I can take from life, or give to life - my choice.

My choice
Hello, I'm Rob Webb. I was born
in Bulawayo, Southern
Rhodesia, in 1945 hence my use of the flag of that era.
I am Airean by birth and by nature.
I have Africa in my blood and I continue to have a deep love for the natural
history of the continent. I identify my roots as being neither 'Rhodesian'
nor 'Zimbabwean' but rather Southern Rhodesian. This is because the country,
before 1964, had subtle differences in culture, and tolerance, from those that
followed. However, I do believe that White Africa should have moved toward political
integration with Black Africa from 1922 onwards. Perhaps if that had happened
there would not have developed the racial intolerance, that many feel today.
Since I have now settled in Australia, I am Australian... (maybe I could classify
myself as an Afstralian).
My interests include sailing, flying,
fishing & travel as well as:
